How I design with AI
Same design fundamentals, faster path from idea to something real.
I still start where design always starts: understanding the problem and the people who have it. What’s changed is how quickly I can test an answer.
How I work
01
Understand
Research, existing data, and talking to the people who use the product.
02
Sketch
Rough flows and options, fast and disposable.
03
Prototype in code
With Claude Code, I turn the strongest ideas into working prototypes that run on a real phone, not just static frames.
04
Test
People tap through something real, so feedback is about the experience, not the mockup.
05
Refine and hand off
Polished designs in Figma, plus a prototype engineers can actually run.
What AI changed, and what it didn’t
It made exploring and prototyping much faster: I can try several interaction ideas in an afternoon and put the best one in someone’s hands the same week.
It didn’t change who’s responsible for the decisions. What to build, why, and whether it’s good enough is still my job.
See it in practice
A small concept I explored in six directions and built as a working prototype.
